Expertise You Can Trust in Occupational Health & Safety
When an injury occurs, your team needs to know it is being managed with confidence by subject matter experts, and with Baron, it will be.
Our healthcare division is exclusively staffed by Registered Nurses, all of whom have hundreds of hours of emergency room experience across Alberta and Manitoba. Under the expert guidance of a Medical Director, our nurses provide efficient, targeted virtual assessments and develop a plan of care to help injured workers return to work as soon as possible. Trained in the Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale, we proactively anticipate the next steps required at each injury progression phase. In addition, we help your team navigate the complexities of the healthcare system and WCB claims process through our deep knowledge of how they operate.
Our safety division is composed of CRSP-certified experts with 15+ years of experience. Experts in OH&S Legislation and risk mitigation, we provide valuable opinions, recommendations, and guidance on everything from on-site safety concerns to incident response and management.
At the root of every successfully managed incident or injury is teamwork. We are a tight-knit group who value transparency, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving – all of which you can expect from every service Baron offers.
Baron Health & Safety Consultants has partnered with a radiology clinic that will prioritize our clients, further allowing for early diagnosis, intervention and treatment.
Our Unique Emergency Medicine Approach
It takes years of bedside experience to become the go-to nurse who can accurately assess, triage, and manage injuries. Baron handles your injured workers’ case with the same urgency and thoroughness as an emergency room triage nurse would. We apply an emergency medicine approach in everything we do, while holding ourselves to the highest standard possible. The result? A streamlined approach that establishes consistency and efficiency regardless of how complex or simple an injury case may be.
Our team is also committed to staying up to date on health and safety best practices. Although every injury is unique, following modern guidelines from the moment a situation occurs directly influences healing and efficient return-to-work timelines. However, we understand that situations can change when it comes to injuries and healing progression. As a result we are diligent about consistently reassessing and re-evaluating each case to implement treatment plan changes as needed. In other words, we are proactive and prepared to pivot when conditions change – a key component of our emergency medicine approach.
Built on Real Experience, Driven by Genuine Care
At the heart of Baron, we are caregivers. We understand that no one is calling us on their best day, and we are committed to being there when you need us. One of our primary goals as a company is to help injured workers get better faster while also taking proactive measures to prevent injuries or incidents from occurring in the first place. We achieve this by how active we are across each service we offer. We do not sit back and wait for updates. Rather, we stay on top of each and every injury case, being actively involved and “in the weeds” every step of the way. Workers who have been involved in an incident or workplace injury will always feel supported and guided as they recover.
In addition, we also take pride in relieving supervisors and managers of the decision fatigue associated with having to “make the right call” at the time of the incident and as situations evolve. Trust us when we say Baron is committed to providing top-tier care and support, ensuring all parties are aligned on expectations and what it takes to achieve the same goal.
